"Find a happy place, find a happy place."

While Justin has been away on a business trip, we've been trying to stay busy and happy. While we're not in the ER we play hide-n-go seek. The girls couldn't not find me to save their lives in this silly spot. They walked by me EIGHT times before I strated yelping to give them a clue. They found me under my bed, in their closet, behind the shower curtain...all places that took a small amount of effort. But when I was in the middle of the floor and large parts of me giving me away, I was invisible to their little eyes.

I have to thank Alice for the picture. She thought my hiding spot was pretty funny, once exposed, and she wanted a picture. It was her first time on the business end of a camera.

I was laughing so hard! Chris is hear now and Shane and him were crackin' up as well. How cute that Alice wanted to document the experience. I wished we lived closer to hang out while Bubba's gone. Hang in there! You can always play my kids' favorite game. The Closing Eye Game. Shane gets on his hands and knees and closes his eyes and tries to tag the kids as they run around him. I know the title is so clever!

That sounds like a great game. Well, there's our FHE activity for tonight. Thanks.

So I know this is going to sound funny, but I found this blog through a friend, (I'm a bit of a stalker). I was friend with Juliet all through school. My name is Cherie Andersen Troutman, but The last time I saw her was at her reception, and I have lost contact with her. If you could give her my email or send me an email address that would be great. Cherieleetroutman@comcast.net
You guys all have great looking families by the way!!

That was a good one! With your title I thought at first that after 2 weeks as a single mom you were hiding because you didn't want to be a mommy anymore (at least not for the next 15 minutes). I shouldn't have underestimated you--you have Job-like patience, especially in coping with early-onset-eating-disorders. :0) Thanks for loaning us Bubba for a few days. We've had a great time! As if being "Bubba" to all us Bringhursts wasn't bad enough, Melanie had to give him another nickname: "Mr. Hinkle". I'll give you $10 if you can tell me where she got it from. It took me at least 10 minutes to figure it out. Wish you were here with us. We'll send him home to you tomorrow! WC Jen

Mr. Hinkle? I have no idea where that could come from. I like it though. I'm glad he could spend some time with you guys, I know it meant a lot to him to get up there to see you and your family. This has been a long two weeks, but we're all still okay. I miss Justin and the girls miss him too so we're excited to pick him up at the airport tonight. Thanks again for showing him a good time.
